As the founders of ONB Bank and Trust Company set out to raise the capital needed to start a new bank, they built a network of diverse relationships among families that embody the spirit that built Oklahoma.

ONB Bank opened its doors for business on January 20, 2000, as Oklahoma National Bank. Since that time, the Bank has experienced unprecedented growth, earning the distinction as one of the fastest growing new banks in Oklahoma history.

In December 2004, Oklahoma National Bank became a state-chartered bank, which resulted in the changing of our name to ONB Bank and Trust Company. On April 2, 2007, Central Bancompany, a holding company with over $8.5 billion in assets, acquired ONB Bank. This acquisition allowed ONB to widen its array of products and services while retaining the local decision-making that had come to define it.

As ONB moves into the future, it plans to remain committed to the fundamental values and beliefs that have made the company a success and will continue to focus on meeting the financial needs of the communities it serves.
