Community Bank and Trust Company traces its roots back to 1917, with the founding of The West Side State Bank (serving the West Tulsa Community). In 1952, the bank changed its name to Community State Bank, and moved to its present location at 2420 Southwest Blvd. In 1972, the bank added trust powers and changed its name to Community Bank and Trust Company.
In 1997, the bank opened the East Bank location at 9004 East 61st Street, and in November of 2001, the bank relocated its Central Bank from 68th and Peoria, to 4880 South Lewis. In 2004, Community Bank and Trust Company became a part of Central Bancompany, a $6.5 billion multi-bank holding company headquartered in Jefferson City Missouri.

The bank has grown from $35 million in assets in 1988 to currently $175 million. Now a full service financial institution, Community Bank offers the products and services that were once only available through national concerns, while maintaining local management and its trademark, personalized service.
